find-joy x Lewwab
find-joy are a five piece alt-pop band hailing from Dublin. Formed in 2021, the group create tracks that blend the vocal harmonies of North-London outfit Sorry and the wild energy of Fremantle’s Spacey Jane.
Their sound is a mixture of layered, full-band performances with electronic experimentation. find-joy have gained a reputation for an engaging and exciting live show. Highlights include performances at Whelan’s One’s to Watch 2023, Golden Plec and John Barker’s TiLT #13 in the Button Factory and Whelans main room as well as sold out headline shows at The Workmans Cellar and Upstairs At Whelan’s.
find-joy have released four singles including ‘Best Wishes’ featuring Matt Ó of Tebi Rex which made it into Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday UK’ playlist as well as The Fader’s ‘Songs You Need In Your Life’ among others.
LEWWAB are a female electronic duo hailing from the city of Cork, Ireland. Fusing piano, percussion and synth amongst other electronic ambient sounds, LEWWAB’s ambition is to create good music and share that music to a live audience. LEWWAB, also known as Lara and Anna, formed at the end of 2018 when they moved to Belgium together to explore the music scene with heavy influences from Brussel’s live electronic scene. Returning home in 2019, LEWWAB began working on their debut EP ‘Flowers’, which was released in 2020 and was well received through air play from RTE 2fm’s Dan Hegarty throughout the year. Throughout the summer of 2021 LEWWAB were featured on RTÉ Culture’s Sessions From Oblivion, produced by the legendary Ian Wilson. Recent performances have included Collins’ Barracks for the Saint Patricks day festival and Electric Picnic 2022.
